Muhammad Ali Ijaz has announced that registration on the Basant Festival 2027 Portal will begin from September 5, 2026 for those involved in the preparation and manufacturing of kite-flying materials.

A valid permit and NOC (No Objection Certificate) will be mandatory for authorized manufacturing activities in Lahore. Only registered and approved individuals or businesses will be allowed to manufacture regulated kite-flying materials. District administration teams are expected to closely monitor production to ensure compliance with government safety requirements.
